1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Kisan Bhai (“we”, “us”, “our”) covering the Kisan Bhai Android application (package name com.bhai.kisan) and the website at kisanbhai.store (together, the “Service”). By installing, opening or using the Service you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

2. Who may use the app

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. If you use the Service on behalf of a farm, dairy or other business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.

3. Your account

• You create an account by verifying your mobile number with a one-time password, or by signing in with your Google account.
• Give accurate details and keep them up to date.
• Keep access to your phone, your SIM and your Google account secure. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• One person should keep one account. Tell us promptly at support@kisanbhai.store if you believe someone else has used your account.

4. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to install and use the app on devices you control, for your own farming or business record keeping. This licence does not transfer any ownership to you, and it ends when these Terms end.

5. Your records

• You own what you enter. Cattle details, milk entries, income and expense entries, categories and notes remain yours.
• You are responsible for accuracy. The app totals and displays exactly what you type. It is a record book, not an auditor, an accountant or a substitute for your own books of account or statutory records.
• Permission to run the Service. You give us the limited permission needed to store, back up, process and display your records so that the app can work for you. We do not use your farm records to advertise to you and we do not sell them.
• Keep your own copies. We take care with your data, but you should not rely on the app as your only record of anything you must keep for legal, tax or financial reasons.

6. Acceptable use

When you use the Service, you agree not to:

• break any law, or use the Service for fraud or any unlawful purpose;
• enter false entries, or automate or manipulate activity in order to inflate your score or your leaderboard rank;
• use another person’s account, or let someone else use yours to pretend to be you;
• upload or submit abusive, obscene, hateful, defamatory or infringing content, including in names and notes that other users may see;
• copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or create derivative works from the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
• scrape, bulk-download or access the Service through unauthorised scripts, bots or modified clients;
• interfere with the Service, overload it, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or disrupt other users;
• click on or interact with advertisements in a way that breaches Google’s advertising policies, including artificial or repeated clicks.

7. Score and leaderboard

• The app awards an in-app score for activities such as logging milk, adding finance entries, cattle activity, sharing the app and voluntarily watching rewarded advertisements.
• Score is a game feature only. It has no monetary value, is not a currency, cannot be bought, sold, transferred or exchanged, and cannot be redeemed for cash, goods or services.
• Your name and score may be visible to other users on the leaderboard. Do not use a name you would not want others to see.
• We may change how score is earned, adjust or reset scores, or remove a user from the leaderboard where we reasonably believe the score was obtained by abuse or manipulation.

8. Advertising

The Service is free and funded by advertising delivered through Google AdMob, including banner, native and rewarded formats. Rewarded ads are always optional - no part of the app is locked behind watching one. Advertisements are selected and served by Google and its partners, not by us. We do not endorse any advertiser and we are not responsible for advertised products, services or offers; any dealing with an advertiser is between you and them. How advertising data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Information in the app is guidance only

Weather forecasts, crop information, animal health prompts and any other informational content in the app are provided for general guidance and may be incomplete, delayed or inaccurate. They are not veterinary, medical, agronomic, financial, tax or legal advice.

Always consult a qualified veterinarian for an animal’s health, and a qualified professional for financial, tax or legal matters. Decisions you take based on information in the app are your own.

10. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party platforms, including Google Play, Google Sign-In, Google Firebase, Google AdMob and Supabase. Their own terms apply to their parts of the experience, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions or for interruptions caused by them.

11. Availability and changes to the Service

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change, add or remove features, carry out maintenance, or discontinue the Service or any part of it. Where a change is significant and we reasonably can, we will give notice in the app. You may also need to install the latest version to keep using the Service.

12. Fees

The app is currently free to download and use. If we ever introduce paid features, they will be clearly marked, optional unless stated, and governed by the pricing and terms shown at the time of purchase. You are responsible for your own mobile data charges.

13. Intellectual property

The app, this website, the Kisan Bhai name and logo, the designs, text, graphics and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers those rights to you. You may not use our name or logo without our written permission.

14. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may ask us to delete your account through the account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if your use harms other users or the Service, or if we are required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination - including sections 5, 13, 15, 16, 17 and 19 - continue to apply.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be free of defects, or that data will never be lost.

16. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, loss of income, loss of livestock, loss of business or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service - even if we have been advised that such loss is possible.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or INR 1,000. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your misuse of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your infringement of any law or third-party right.

18. Privacy

Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

19. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, subject to any right you have under consumer law to bring proceedings where you live.

20. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “last updated” date above shows the current version, and significant changes will be notified in the app or by notification. If you continue using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.
